Red Lion SLX-8MS-4ST Managed Industrial Ethernet Switch

The Red Lion Sixnet SLX-8MS-4ST is an 8-port managed industrial Ethernet switch that combines six 10/100BASE-TX copper ports with two 100BASE-FX multimode fiber ports using ST connectors, enabling fiber links up to 4 km for rugged networks. It supports dual 10–30 VDC inputs with reverse-polarity protection and surge protection, housed in an aluminium, DIN-rail‑mountable enclosure with IP40 protection, rated for -40 to 75°C and 5–95% non-condensing humidity, and backed by a 5-year warranty. Management is via web or CLI and includes SNMP v1/2/3, VLAN, QoS, IGMP filtering, RMON, and port mirroring, with Real-Time Ring redundancy of about 30 ms (plus 5 ms per hop) and up to 2048 MAC addresses. The device is certified for ATEX, CE, FCC, UL, and RoHS, and is designed for environments such as maritime, oil & gas, transportation, utility and energy applications where fiber connectivity and EMI resistance are critical; it can act as a fiber-ring manager or network aggregation switch. Net weight is approximately 476 g, with six copper RJ-45 ports operating at 10/100 Mbps and two ST-connected fiber ports supporting 100BASE-FX multimode connectivity.
