Remote RCEL006 Remote Control Actuator is a 24V DC electric actuator in the RCEL remote-control family designed to automate quarter-turn valves. It provides a 90° travel (±5°) from a 24V DC supply and uses a permanently lubricated, self-locking worm gear for precise positioning and positive hold when power is removed. The RCEL006 model intentionally omits built-in torque switches, a feature found on larger RCEL units, and is designed for integration with local or remote control configurations such as Local Control Units (LCU1/LCU2) or accessory control modules. It includes external limit stops for setting travel range, a continuous position indicator for real-time feedback, and a declutching mechanism that enables manual operation when power is unavailable. The housing combines steel and aluminum alloys with anodized and dry powder epoxy coatings for durability in harsh industrial environments, and it supports standard RCEL control interfaces for straightforward valve actuation in process plants and utilities.
