Remote RCEL028 Remote Control Actuator

The Remote RCEL028 Remote Control Actuator is a RCEL-series electric valve actuator designed for remote control of quarter-turn valves in industrial systems. It is powered by 24 V DC and accepts a modulating control signal, typically 4-20 mA, to set valve position. A 4-20 mA transmitter provides position feedback to the control system for precise, looped operation.

In the RCEL line, some RCEL028-250 configurations include an integrated Position Control Unit (PCU) PB90 inside the actuator, consolidating drive and control electronics for compact installation. The RCEL family supports multiple analog control options, with 4-20 mA as a standard input and, on many variants, 0-10 V as an alternative signal. This makes the RCEL028 suitable for PLC or DCS interfaces and remote local/remote operation.

Typical applications include actuation of industrial valves in process plants, water and wastewater treatment, and other settings where remote, reliable valve control is required.
