ROSS Controls W998H79105 Pneumatic Solenoid LOX Lock-Out Control Valve is part of the L-O-X family designed to provide safe pneumatic energy isolation by locking the downstream line in the OFF position and exhausting residual pressure for maintenance work. In the 27 Series, it supports remote on/off control via electrical solenoid or pneumatic pilot, enabling automated or remote actuation while a dedicated lockout feature ensures the valve cannot be reopened while energy remains isolated. The EEZ-ON soft-start capability gradually pressurizes the downstream circuit after lockout release, reducing pressure surges and minimizing wear on downstream components. For installation, the valve is intended to be the first device in the machine’s compressed air supply line, upstream of all control valves, cylinders, and actuators, so maintenance personnel can safely isolate and exhaust energy before servicing. A padlock can be placed through the lock hole to secure the OFF position, reinforcing OSHA-compliant energy isolation in industrial and LOX-related pneumatic systems.
