RuggedCom RS900-HI-D-C5-C5-T5 Industrial Ethernet Switch

The RuggedCom RS900-HI-D-C5-C5-T5 Industrial Ethernet Switch is a nine-port, fully managed rugged switch engineered to operate in electrically harsh and climatically demanding environments, making it suitable for substation cabinets, factory floors, and other industrial OT deployments. It provides six Fast Ethernet copper ports plus up to three Fast Ethernet fiber uplinks, with support for multiple fiber connector types and flexible network topology, and it runs RuggedCom’s ROS software offering VLAN, RADIUS, SSH/SSL, and SNMPv3 for secure management and monitoring. Built for extreme conditions, the RS900 tolerates -40 to 85 °C, delivers EMI immunity and shock resistance, and carries hazardous location certification (Class 1 Division 2). The unit ships in a compact galvanized steel enclosure with DIN-rail or panel mounting and integrates a wide-range power supply (88–300 VDC or 85–264 VAC) or dual-redundant 24 VDC/48 VDC inputs for high availability. Additional resilience features include 128-bit encryption and optional zero-second failover via PRP/HSR, underscoring its suitability for critical networks in utilities, traffic control, and industrial automation where reliable, secure Ethernet is essential.
