Description:

Ruland CL-43-F is a one-piece, clamp-style shaft collar designed for a 2.6875 in bore shaft, with a 4 in outer diameter and 0.875 in width. The design does not mar the shaft, is easy to remove, and is indefinitely adjustable, making it ideal for guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting, or aligning components such as gears or bearings. Built from 1215 carbon steel and finished in a hot-process black oxide with napthenic oil impregnation, it is RoHS3 and REACH compliant and manufactured in Marlborough, MA. The single 3/8-24 forged clamp screw, with a black-oxide finish, is tightened with a 5/16 in hex wrench to a seating torque of 570 in-lb, ensuring a secure hold. Tolerances include a bore of +0.0020 in / +0.0005 in, outer diameter of 4.00 in, and width of 0.875 in, with a perpendicularity (TIR) of ≤ 0.002 in to support precise alignment when used as a load-bearing face or mounting surface. The part weighs 1.6154 lb and carries a no backslot design for unimpeded operation on the shaft, operating from -40°F to 350°F (-40°C to 176°C). The CL-43-F is stamped with the bore size for easy identification and is a staple solution for high-precision positioning of components on standard shafts.
