DCD21-10-10-A from Ruland is a clamp-style, double-disc coupling that delivers zero-backlash torque transmission at precision speeds. Bores 0.625 in on each side; aluminum hubs; 1.313 in outer diameter; 1.770 in length. Its two anodized aluminum hubs sandwich two sets of stainless steel disc springs with a center spacer, allowing each disc to bend independently to accommodate angular and parallel misalignment. The design is balanced and lightweight, reducing vibration at speeds up to 10,000 RPM, with dynamic torque ratings (reversing 25 in-lb; non-reversing 50 in-lb) and a static torque of 100 in-lb, and it accommodates angular misalignment up to 2.0°, parallel misalignment 0.008 in, and axial motion 0.016 in. Machined from solid bar stock sourced exclusively from North American mills and RoHS3/REACH compliant, it is manufactured in Marlborough, MA; it uses metric screws (M3) with seating torque 2.1 Nm and includes a 2.5 mm hex wrench.
