The Ruland MBC15-6-5-A Bellows Coupling is a precision, clamp-on shaft coupling engineered for 6 mm and 5 mm bores, delivering high torsional stiffness in a compact 15.0 mm outside-diameter package. It features two anodized aluminum hubs (2024-T351) and a 321 stainless steel bellows epoxy-attached between them, yielding an overall length of 27.3 mm and an outer diameter of 15.0 mm. Each bore supports shaft insertion to a maximum of 13.1 mm, and the assembly is balanced for high-speed operation up to 10,000 RPM, with dynamic torque ratings of 1.25 N·m non-reversing and 0.63 N·m reversing. The bellows coupling is RoHS3, REACH, and Conflict Minerals compliant, manufactured in Marlborough, MA, USA, with a sulfuric anodize MIL-A-8625 Type II, Class 2 finish (hubs) and a Type B black anodize finish. Designed for precision positioning applications such as servo motors and encoders, it uses a clamp-on design that secures firmly to shafts without marring, and it operates over a temperature range of -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93°C).
