Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc. SP-16-ST Shaft Collar
Description:
Ruland SP-16-ST is a two-piece, clamp-style shaft collar designed for a 1.0000-inch bore and crafted from 316 stainless steel with matching hardware and a bright finish for corrosion resistance. It features an outer diameter of 1-3/4 inches and a width of 0.500 inches, with a bore tolerance of +0.0020 / +0.0005 inches and a face-to-bore perpendicularity (TIR) of ≤ 0.002 inches, and the halves are mated throughout manufacturing to ensure consistent fit and alignment. Two 1/4-28 stainless steel clamp screws deliver a seating torque of 110 in-lb; the design can be installed, adjusted, and removed without sliding the collar along the shaft, while the clamp action minimizes shaft marring. Common applications include guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting, and precise component alignment; SP-16-ST is RoHS3 and REACH compliant, manufactured in Marlborough, MA, USA from Type 316L bar stock, with galling-resistant stainless hardware and a temperature range of -40°F to 350°F.
