Ruland SPC-32-32-F Two-Piece Split Rigid Coupling
Ruland SPC-32-32-F Two-Piece Split Rigid Coupling
Description:
Ruland SPC-32-32-F is a two-piece rigid coupling designed to join equal-diameter shafts with 2.0000 in bores, delivering precise, vibration-minimized connection for high-precision servo drives and shaft-to-shaft assemblies. It features a 3 3/8 in outer diameter and a total length of 4 7/8 in, with 1/2 in x 1/2 in keyways on each bore to secure the shafts. The coupling is forged from 1215 lead-free steel and finished in a proprietary black oxide coating for a fine, glossy appearance and enhanced holding power, while maintaining RoHS3 and REACH compliance and ISO 9001:2015 certification. Bores are precision honed to strict tolerances to preserve alignment and reduce system vibration, and the hardware uses a Nypatch anti-vibration coating that aids even seating, minimizes galling, and preserves clamping force through repeated installations. Installation requires tightening in two stages to achieve a seating torque of 570 lb-in (inner screws to 285 lb-in first, then outer screws), with a recommended shaft penetration limit of 2.437 in and a required gap of 0.094 in between halves. Rated for use in environments where North American mill-sourced stock is preferred, SPC-32-32-F is manufactured in Marlborough, MA and is intended for high-precision couplings in servo and other precision-driven machinery, offering reliable, stable coupling with rigid alignment preservation and straightforward clamping.
