Schneider Electric 140CPS21100 DC Power Supply

Schneider Electric 140CPS21100 is a standalone Modicon Quantum power supply module that accepts a 24 V DC input in the 20–30 V range and provides a regulated 5.1 V DC output at 0.3–3 A for logic and peripheral devices. It draws approximately 1.6 A from the 24 V supply, has an inrush current up to 30 A at startup, and uses a 2.5 A slow-blow fuse on the input. Local signaling is via a green PWR OK LED, and the unit includes internal overload and overvoltage protections for reliable operation in standalone mode. Schneider Electric discontinued the 140CPS21100 on April 14, 2023, with BMXCPS3020 (X80 series, 24–48 V DC input, 31.2 W) listed as the replacement; the end-of-service date is December 31, 2030.
