Schneider Electric 3708E Isolated Thermocouple Module

The TRICONEX 3708E Isolated Thermocouple Module from Schneider Electric provides 16 isolated differential thermocouple inputs for Tri-conex Safety Instrumented Systems, converting thermocouple signals into digital temperature values with built-in linearization and cold-junction compensation. It supports J, K, T, and E thermocouples, offers channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation, and delivers a maximum 50 ms input update rate for reliable temperature monitoring in industrial environments such as oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, and power generation systems. In Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configurations, the 3708E is installed in a Tri-conex control chassis with external termination panel connections, and includes module diagnostics (status, fault, active, and cold junction indicators) plus selectable burnout detection (upscale or downscale) to aid maintenance, SIS repairs, and process monitoring upgrades.
