Schneider Electric's Square D SY/MAX Class 8030 CIM-131 digital input module provides four discrete input channels that mount in a SY/MAX 8030 rack, converting field signals into logic-level inputs for the controller. Each of the four inputs accepts 12–24 V AC/DC signals and draws roughly 30 mA, allowing straightforward expansion of a legacy automation I/O footprint without introducing complex power feeds.
