Description:
The Square D 8030-CRM-511 Multi‑Media Network Interface Module (SY/NET Class 8030) mediates communications between a SY/NET LAN and SY/MAX controllers, CRT programmers, or other compatible devices. It provides two operating modes: SY/MAX mode for direct connections to SY/MAX controllers and CRT programmers, and NET-TO-NET mode for linking LANs via another network interface module. Leased‑line and private‑carrier media support this inter‑device communications framework in industrial automation systems using SY/MAX networks. In SY/MAX mode, it can interface with IBM PCs running SY/MATE software and other compatible equipment.
