Schneider Electric 8501XTE2 Timing Relay

Schneider Electric 8501XTE2 Timing Relay is a pneumatic timer attachment for Square D 8501 Type X NEMA control relays that adds a precise on-delayed start to automation circuits. The unit provides an adjustable timing interval in the 5–180 second range (up to 3 minutes) and includes a convertible contact set: 1 normally open and 1 normally closed, enabling either a simple timed switch or a changeover configuration by wiring. Designed to be used with the 8501 relay family, the 8501XTE2 enables delayed energization in applications such as motor starters, conveyors, pumps, and fans, where a defined startup delay improves sequencing and fault management.
