Schneider Electric 8536-SEG1 Soft Start Controller

Schneider Electric's Square D 8536-SEG1 is a size-3, three-pole Type S non-reversing motor starter intended for direct-on-line starting of 3-phase motors. This SEG1 variant uses a 120 VAC coil and is supplied in a NEMA 1 enclosure suitable for standard control-panel mounting in light-industrial environments. It can be paired with a Motor Logic overload relay (SSOLR) for overload protection; some configurations of the 8536 SEG1 family are offered with Class 20 solid-state overload relays. As a member of the 8536 series, it provides the core switching function for 3-phase motors, with a 3-pole configuration and standard control wiring compatible with 120 VAC control circuits. The 8536SEG1 line also includes variants with different coil voltages, including 208-240 VAC and 480 VAC, depending on model, enabling compatibility with a range of utility and machine electrical systems.
