Schneider Electric AS-B832-016 PLC Module

Schneider Electric AS-B832-016 is a Modicon 984/800-series discrete output I/O module that provides 16 independent 24 V DC outputs for a PLC rack, arranged as two groups of eight, in a single-slot 800-series module. This true-low output module is intended for sinking loads from a Modicon controller and operates from 20 to 28 V DC; it requires an external 24 ± 4 V DC power supply capable of up to 600 mA. Each output point can switch up to 250 mA, with a per-group maximum of 2 A and a per-module maximum of 4 A, and offers fast switching with OFF-TO-ON and ON-TO-OFF response times measured near 1 ms. The AS-B832-016 carries a 1-slot footprint and weighs approximately 2.75 lb (1.25 kg). The terminal connector is AS-8534-000. This module is listed by Schneider Electric for the Modicon 800/984 family but is discontinued by the manufacturer.
