Schneider Electric AS-B885-110 Motion Module is a Modicon 984-series single-axis motion controller that accepts dual encoder feedback and operates from a nominal 24 V DC supply (19.2–30 V DC range). It provides 7 discrete inputs and 1 analog input, plus 3 discrete outputs and 1 analog output, with an input impedance of 3.7 kΩ. The module supports dual encoder feedback via two encoder inputs (resolver and encoders), with encoder frequencies up to 200 kHz (square-wave) and a motion speed range up to 6,000 RPM, and it uses memory cartridges (Executive and User) along with a dual quadrature encoder card; it can be installed in a single-width 984-series chassis slot or operated as a standalone motion controller.
