Schneider Electric BMEH586040S is a redundant safety processor (HSBY) module for the Modicon M580 Safety PLC family, engineered to maintain continuous operation in safety-critical processes. It features a 64 MB memory pool for application programs and data, enabling sizable safety logic in a hot-standby configuration. In a redundant setup, the BMEH586040S works with the BMEP58CPROS3 safety coprocessor to implement certified safety functions and supports up to 61 Ethernet devices and 31 remote IO racks of X80 and Quantum IO.
