Schneider Electric BMXCPS2000 Power Supply Module

Schneider Electric’s BMXCPS2000 is a compact Modicon X80 power supply module that converts 100–240 V AC into a 24 V DC rail for the rack’s I/O modules and processor, delivering 20 W of power and supporting up to 0.7 A on the 24 V output. This 20 W supply is designed for the Modicon X80 ecosystem, compatible with Schneider Electric’s M340/X80 automation platforms, and provides centralized backplane power to 24 V DC I/O and CPU rails on a single rack. The unit’s primary-side protection includes an internal fuse not accessible for the primary circuit, while the secondary circuit offers overload and overvoltage protection as well as short-circuit protection to safeguard downstream devices. As part of Schneider Electric’s modular and scalable X80 family, BMXCPS2000 integrates with other X80 modules to simplify rack power architecture and ensure reliable operation in industrial environments.
