Schneider Electric CH361 CH Series Industrial Switch

Schneider Electric's Square D CH361 is a heavy‑duty, fusible safety switch in the CH series (Series F family) designed for indoor disconnect of three‑phase power. This 3‑pole, 3‑phase device is rated for 30 A and up to 600 V (AC or DC), with a 20 HP maximum load and a NEMA 1 enclosure for general indoor applications. It uses fusible links and accepts J and R fuses, and it carries an AIC rating of 200 kA at 600 V. The CH361 is a single‑throw safety switch intended to safely isolate equipment for servicing or maintenance in electrical panels and motor circuits. Note that Schneider Electric discontinued CH361 on January 31, 2024, and the recommended replacement is VH361 (VisiPacT) in the same family—still a 3‑pole, 30 A, 600 V fusible disconnect with a viewing window, NEMA 1 enclosure, and similar performance, offering a direct migration path for existing installations.
