Schneider Electric CHU361 Switch

Schneider Electric's Square D CHU361 is a heavy-duty, non-fusible three-pole safety disconnect switch designed to safely interrupt power on 3-phase circuits. It is rated for up to 600 V (AC/DC) and 30 A, housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure with a single-throw, 3-pole configuration for straightforward operation. Part of the CHU family (Series F, Type CHU), this switch is intended for industrial and commercial power distribution where a non-fusible disconnect is required. The CHU361 was discontinued by Schneider Electric on August 8, 2023; Schneider now recommends the VHU361 as its direct replacement—also 3-pole, 600 V, 30 A, unfused, with a viewing window option under the VisiPacT line. For legacy installations, the VHU361 replacement provides a modern alternative with similar electrical characteristics and form factor.
