Schneider Electric EGX-400 Industrial Ethernet Gateway

Schneider Electric's PowerLogic EGX400 Industrial Ethernet Gateway is a web-enabled Ethernet-to-serial gateway that links RS-485 devices to an Ethernet/TCP network, serving as a bridge for PowerLogic meters and other Modbus RS-485 equipment. It provides a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port, two RS-485 serial ports, and supports both two-wire and four-wire RS-485 configurations, with setup and diagnostics available through built-in HTML pages served by the device via a standard web browser. The EGX400 is mountable on DIN rails, walls, or flat surfaces, and can be powered from either 24 VDC or 100-240 VAC via a supplied power adapter, with about 16 MB of memory onboard and optional 100BASE-FX fiber connectivity for fiber-based networks. This gateway enables centralized monitoring, remote access, and integration of connected devices into building automation or industrial control networks.
