Schneider Electric GV2ME05 Magnetic Motor Starter

Schneider Electric GV2ME05 Magnetic Motor Starter is a compact, three-pole motor protection switch that provides local ON/OFF control with integrated thermal‑magnetic overload protection for small 3‑phase motors. It covers a 0.63–1 A full‑load current range, is rated up to 690 V AC at 50/60 Hz, and includes magnetic short‑circuit protection alongside a thermal overload trip. Wiring uses screw‑clamp terminals, and a push‑button operator enables direct manual control. Part of the TeSys GV2 Deca family, the GV2ME05 is designed for DIN rail mounting on 35 mm rails and is a non‑reversing device suitable for standalone use or as protection in motor control circuits with a contactor. With an interrupting capacity up to 100 kA, it is intended for continuous‑duty motor protection in control panels.
