Schneider Electric LA1KN40 Auxiliary Contact Block

Schneider Electric's TeSys K LA1KN40 Auxiliary Contact Block adds four normally open auxiliary contacts to TeSys K contactors and control relays, expanding the control capabilities in industrial motor control systems. Designed for front-mount (clip-on) installation, it is compatible with TeSys K LC1K, CA2K, and CA3K devices and is commonly installed in MCCs, conveyors, pumps, compressors, packaging machinery, and industrial control panels. The LA1KN40 provides 4 NO contacts with instantaneous operation, rated for up to 690 VAC on Ue (25–400 Hz) and Ui ratings of 690 VAC (IEC) / 600 VAC (UL/CSA); Conventional Free Air Thermal Current Ith is 10 A at 50°C and Rated Making Capacity Irms is 110 A at ≤690 VAC. It uses screw clamp terminals and complies with IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No. 60947-5-1, and GB/T 14048.5. In practical terms, it supports control circuit expansion, dependable interlocking, and status feedback in automation applications such as conveyors, HVAC systems, material handling equipment, pumps, compressors, and automated manufacturing machinery.
