Schneider Electric LV429382 Shunt Trip Release

LV429382 is Schneider Electric's MX shunt trip release for Compact NSX circuit breakers, designed to fit the NSX100-630 frame and to energize from a 12 V DC coil. This accessory provides remote-tripping capability, enabling emergency shutdowns and safety-system interlocks by applying or removing power to the release coil. It features screwless spring-terminal connections for fast, reliable wiring in panel installations and helps reduce wiring complexity in safety circuits. The MX 12 V DC shunt release is compatible with ComPacT NSX, PowerPact Multistandard, and EasyPact CVS families, spanning multiple low-voltage molded-case breakers, and is UL/CSA-listed in many markets. In typical applications, it is wired to a control or safety network so that a control signal or safety event triggers an immediate disconnection of the protected circuit, meeting safety requirements in industries such as manufacturing, data centers, and building automation. The release operates by energizing the 12 V DC coil to trip the breaker, and after a trip, the breaker can be reset in the normal manner to resume operation.
