The Schneider Electric MSA25A440V16-24A Motor Starter Assembly is a preassembled magnetic motor starter that pairs a 25 A AC-3 contactor with a 440 VAC coil and an adjustable thermal overload relay for reliable motor starting and overload protection in industrial equipment. As a TeSys D assembly, it uses a 3-pole contactor rated up to 690 VAC (50/60 Hz) and up to 15 HP at 460 VAC, and includes 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact along with an LRD22 overload relay in the 16–24 A range; it is LC1D25 compatible with LC1D25R7 as a replacement option. The unit features DIN rail or panel mounting, screw-clamp terminals, IP20 protection, and a selectable manual or automatic reset with Class 10A tripping, plus protection functions for thermal overload and phase failure, all built to IEC/EN 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 standards and CE, UL Listed, CSA Certified marks.
