Schneider Electric NFSLG3 Slave Address Selector
Schneider Electric NFSLG3 Slave Address Selector
Description:
Schneider Electric's NFSELG3 NF‑G3 Slave Address Selector is a compact, UL‑listed accessory for Powerlink G3 Lighting Control Systems that assigns a unique slave address to each secondary panel in the network. In a typical Powerlink subnetwork, a single master panel can coordinate up to seven slave panels, and each slave panel requires its own NFSELG3 to indicate its address. The device is housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure and uses a rotary address dial set with a 1/8‑inch screwdriver to select a value from 0 through 7; the dial arrow points to the desired address. Addresses must be unique across all slave panels to ensure proper operation and prevent conflicts within the subnetwork. Use of address 0 is generally avoided unless the master controller and power supply are mounted in a panelboard without control buses. The NFSELG3 is part of the Powerlink family and is designed for use with Square D Powerlink Lighting Control Systems, with one slave address selector required for each slave panel to enable proper communication with the master controller. This accessory simplifies network expansion by clearly identifying each secondary panel’s address and ensuring coordinated control across the full Powerlink installation.
