Schneider Electric PM8ECC U Industrial Control Module

PM8ECC U is an Ethernet communication module for Schneider Electric's PM800-series energy meters, adding a 10/100Base-TX Ethernet port and a RS-485/Modbus serial port to the device. It supports Modbus TCP/IP over Ethernet and, on the serial side, Modbus RTU, JBus, and SY/MAX; it includes a built-in Web server for real-time data viewing and requires no external power. Schneider Electric notes that PM8ECC is discontinued in multiple regions, with the US listing end of commercialization on January 23, 2021, and other regions citing late 2023; there is no BACnet support. For current installations or replacement, consider newer PM8000/PM5000 Ethernet-enabled models such as METSEPM5560 or METSEPM8240.
