Schneider Electric's Square D SA-5 Output Module Board is a 16-channel, rack-mounted PLC digital output module designed for Square D Class 8881 programmable controllers. It provides 16 TRIAC-controlled AC outputs for switching 100–240 VAC field devices, with an output rating of 1 A per channel and reed relay isolation. This module is used to control AC devices such as contactors, solenoid valves, pilot lights, and alarms in conveyors, packaging machinery, material handling, and other manufacturing automation applications. Mounting is rack-mounted PLC I/O, and it is compatible with Square D Class 8881 Programmable Controllers for repairs, retrofits, or replacement of failed output modules.
