Schneider Electric Telemecanique LD1-LB030 Motor Starter

The Schneider Electric Telemecanique LD1-LB030 Motor Starter is a 3-pole manual starter used to start, stop, isolate, and protect three-phase motors in industrial control systems, commonly installed in MCCs, conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, and control panels. It handles up to 18 A rated operational current and supports voltages up to 600 VAC (660/690 VAC insulation rating), with a control coil of 115–120 VAC at 60 Hz (coil version dependent). The starter includes the LA1-LB017 auxiliary contact block (Ith 6 A AC-15) for signaling and interlock functions, and wires via panel-mount, screw-clamp terminals; it is part of the TeSys Integral 18 series. It is designed to meet IEC 60947 and UL/CSA/VDE/NEMKO/DEMKO/SEMKO/ASTA standards, with a short-circuit interrupt rating up to 42 kA at 480 VAC when properly protected, and a fixed magnetic protection of roughly 15× the maximum thermal current. Common replacements include Schneider Electric LUB12 with TeSys U Control Unit, Allen-Bradley 140M-C2E-B18, and Siemens 3RV2011-1JA10.
