Schneider Electric Telemecanique XPS-AC Safety Relay

The Schneider Electric Telemecanique XPS-AC safety relay is a dual-channel safety module designed to monitor emergency stop circuits and safety interlocks in industrial automation. Part of the Preventa XPSAC family, it features 3 normally open safety outputs and an additional solid-state output for PLC signaling, with the option of fixed or removable screw-terminal connections. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail and fits in a compact 22.5 mm housing, while supporting two safety input channels that monitor emergency stop pushbuttons, cable-pull switches, and safety interlocks. Certified as a Category 3 safety module under EN 954-1 / EN 60954-1, this relay is commonly used in packaging equipment, conveyor installations, manufacturing lines, and other machine-guarding applications where reliable shutdown and restart monitoring is essential; common replacements include XPSAC5121, XPSAC3421, and XPSAC3721.
