Schneider Electric Telemecanique ZCD21 Limit Switch

The Schneider Electric Telemecanique ZCD21 is a compact fixed limit switch body designed to pair with XCKD limit switch heads for reliable position sensing and end-of-travel monitoring in compact industrial automation systems. Part of the XC Standard – ZCD Compact family, the ZCD21 is built from zamak (die-cast zinc alloy) and accepts a single NC and a single NO contact configuration with snap-action operation and silver-plated contacts, offering positive opening for safe machine sequencing. It uses screw-clamp terminals with a terminal capacity of 1 × 0.34 mm² to 2 × 1.5 mm² and supports up to 1.5 A at 240 VAC (AC-15) or 0.1 A at 250 VDC (DC-13), with a rated insulation voltage of 500 V IEC and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV. A 10 A gG cartridge fuse provides short-circuit protection. Designed for compatibility with the XCKD series, the ZCD21 works as a dependable switch body in machine tools, conveyors, packaging equipment, material handling systems, and other industrial automation setups requiring compact form factor and robust end-of-travel sensing. Common replacements include ZCD28, ZCD29, and ZCMD21.
