Description:
The Schneider Electric VCF2 Emergency Stop Switch Disconnector is a 3‑pole TeSys VARIO device designed for door‑mounted installation, rated 40 A and featuring a padlockable red rotary handle on a yellow front plate for clear isolation cues. It provides manual isolation of three‑phase circuits and also functions as an emergency stop switch, with a rated operational voltage up to 690 VAC at 50/60 Hz and a door‑mounting style secured by four screws. Widely used in machine tools, conveyors, packaging machinery, motor control panels, and other industrial process equipment where reliable main isolation and quick stopping are required. As a discontinued legacy switch disconnector, common replacements include Schneider Electric VCFN40GE and the OEM‑equivalent VCF2.
