Schneider Electric XCS-A701 Safety Limit Switch

Schneider Electric's Telemecanique XCS-A701 Safety Limit Switch is a rugged metal-bodied Limit Switch designed to monitor guard doors and access points in industrial automation, delivering positive-opening monitoring for machine interlocks in robotic cells, packaging lines, conveyors, CNCs, and other automated equipment. This 2 NC + 1 NO limit switch (XCS Safety Switches, XCSA series) uses a key-operated turret head and slow-break, break-before-make contact operation to ensure safe disconnection when guards are opened. It provides positive-opening NC contacts and a rated operational current of 6 A at 120 V AC and 3 A at 240 V AC (AC-15, A300), with a rated insulation voltage of 500 V. Wiring is via screw terminals, with a single Pg13.5 threaded entry, and mounting is suitable for machine or panel installations. The enclosure is metal (Zamak) and IP67-rated, built for harsh industrial environments and compliant with IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60204-1, ISO 14119, UL 508, and CSA C22.2 No. 14.
