Description:
The Schneider Electric XCS-C703 safety interlock switch is a key-operated guard-door interlock that prevents machine operation whenever safety guards or access doors are open. It features 2 NC + 1 NO contacts with slow-break operation, rated for 300 V AC and 10 A, housed in a rugged zamak body with IP67 protection and a positive-opening NC contact. Part of the Telemecanique Safety Switches XCS-XCSC family, it has a key-operated turret head, screw-terminal connection with 1/2 in NPT cable entry, and is commonly used on packaging machines, conveyors, robotic cells, CNC machines, and automated production lines for guard-door safety interlock monitoring; common replacements include XCSC703CB, XCSA703, and XCSB703.
