Schneider Electric XCS-TE7311 Safety Door Switch

Schneider Electric XCS-TE7311 is a safety door interlock switch in the Telemecanique XCS series that monitors guard doors and protective covers to ensure machinery stops when opened. Equipped with a key-operated turret head actuator, it provides 2 NC slow-break contacts plus 1 NC slow-break solenoid contact and operates from a rated 24 V AC/DC supply. Wiring uses terminal connections (0.5–1.5 mm²), with 1 Pg11 cable entry, and the unit is IP67 housed in polyamide plastic; the interlock uses solenoid locking with controlled release and is rated for about 1,000,000 mechanical cycles at up to 10 cycles per minute. It complies with IEC 60947-5-1, ISO 14119, IEC 60204-1 and supports safety level capability up to PL e / SIL 3 with proper monitoring; common replacements include XCSA703, XCSTE7312, and XCSTE6513.
