Schneider Electric XCSE7513 Safety Interlock Switch

The XCSE7513 Safety Interlock Switch from Schneider Electric (Telemecanique Sensors) is a rugged, metal safety interlock with a key-operated turret head, solenoid locking on energization, and LED status indication for securing machine guards, access doors, and protective enclosures in industrial automation. This XCSE series device provides 2 NC + 1 NO contacts with slow-break, break-before-make operation and positive-opening safety contacts for reliable integration with safety relays and controllers. It is powered by a 24 V AC/DC solenoid supply, with AC-15 ratings up to 240 V AC and current ratings of 1.5 A at 240 V (AC-15) or 0.27 A at 250 V (DC-13). The switch uses screw clamp terminals and two 1/2 in. NPT cable entries for wiring flexibility, and its Zamak metal body offers IP67 protection and an operating range from -25 °C to +70 °C. Certifications include CSA and UL. Note that in the No Keys Included configuration, a compatible XCSZ key-tongue actuator (such as XCSZ03) is required to complete installation.
