Schneider Electric XS2-N18PA340 Proximity Sensor

Schneider Electric XS2-N18PA340 proximity sensor is an inductive, non-contact switch designed to detect metal objects in industrial automation. The cylindrical M18 sensor uses a nickel-plated brass housing with a normally open (NO) contact and a PNP, 3-wire output, delivered via an M12 4-pin connector. It operates from 12–24 V DC and draws up to 200 mA, with a sensing distance of 8 mm and a flush-mount design rated IP67. The device switches at up to 1000 Hz and is suitable for position sensing and object detection in conveyors, packaging equipment, assembly lines, machine tools, and other material handling processes.
