Schneider Electric XS612B1MAL2 proximity sensor from the XS6 family is a cylindrical M12 inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metal components in industrial automation. With a nickel-plated brass housing and flush-mount design, it uses normally open (NO) contacts and operates from 24–240 V AC/DC, drawing up to 200 mA. The sensing distance is 4 mm, and it ships with a 2 m cable for easy wiring. Rated to IP68 and IP69K, it withstands washdown and harsh environments, and its electrical switching occurs at up to 1300 Hz for fast responses.
