Schneider Electric XUM9APCNL2 Proximity Sensor

Schneider Electric XUM9APCNL2 is a compact polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor from the Telemecanique Sensors family. Housed in a 27 × 38 mm package, it detects reflective targets at distances up to 5 m and provides a PNP output that can be configured as normally open or normally closed. It ships with a 2 m cable (NL2) and operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, with a switching frequency around 1,000 Hz for reliable detection on faster moving parts. The sensor carries an IP67 rating, defending against dust and water exposure in demanding industrial environments. The polarized retroreflective configuration helps distinguish the target from ambient light, improving stability when a reflector is used opposite the sensor.
