Schneider Electric ZCKJ4045 Limit Switch Rotary Head

The Schneider Electric Telemecanique ZCKJ4045 is a metal-bodied limit switch assembly—a Limit Switch Body with Spring Return Rotary Head—designed for end-of-travel detection and position sensing in industrial automation. It combines a fixed metal body with an integrated spring-return rotary head that can actuate from either left or right, making it suitable for conveyors, packaging lines, assembly equipment, and material-handling systems where reliable snap-action switching and dual changeover contacts are required; it’s commonly used by system integrators for repair, retrofit, expansion, and replacement of XC Standard limit switch assemblies. This XC Standard device (Device Short Name ZCKJ) is compatible with the XCKJ Series and features 2 poles with a DPDT contact configuration (2NO + 2NC), snap-action operation, and 3 positions (2 steps). Terminals are screw-clamp for conductors 1 × 0.75 to 2 × 1.5 mm² with a Pg 13.5 cable gland entry, rated for 3 A at 240 VAC (AC-15, A300) or 0.27 A at 250 VDC (DC-13, Q300), and a conventional thermal current of 10 A at 500 V insulation. The unit is built for harsh environments with a metal body, IP66 protection, IK07 impact rating, and suitability for corrosive environments, with terminal resistance of 0.25 mΩ (IEC 60255-7 Category 3).
