Schneider Electric LC1D12 Motor Starter Assembly

The Schneider Electric LC1D12 Motor Starter Assembly is a preassembled magnetic motor control unit that pairs a 3‑pole TeSys D contactor with an integrated overload relay for reliable starting and overload protection of industrial motors. The 12 A (AC-3) contactor uses a 24 VAC/DC coil, and the overload relay (LRD16) covers 9–13 A, enabling switching up to 690 VAC at 50/60 Hz and supporting up to 10 HP at 460 VAC. It features 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact, manual or automatic reset, and protections including thermal overload and phase failure. The assembly can be mounted on DIN rail or panel and uses screw clamp terminals, with an IP20 enclosure rating. It is designed for use in motor control centers, conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, HVAC equipment, and manufacturing machinery requiring dependable control and overload protection; common replacements include LC1D12BD + LRD16, LE1D12BD, and Eaton PKZM0 + DILM12 + ZB12-13 assemblies.
