SELECTA BZ-2RD-A2-BG Limit Switch

The SELECTA BZ-2RD-A2-BG is a SELECTA basic snap-action limit switch with an overtravel plunger actuator and a SPDT contact arrangement, designed for rugged industrial position sensing. This bottom-facing (BG) variant uses screw-terminal wiring for secure field connections and carries a 15 A rating up to 480 VAC, making it suitable for mid- to high-power control circuits. The switch provides one normally open and one normally closed contact (SPDT) and is built for reliable, crisp actuation with a short electrical make/break time, ideal for limit sensing on machines, conveyors, and presses. It employs a standard overtravel plunger that accommodates mechanical travel before actuation and is part of the legacy BASIC SWITCH family from SELECTA/Honeywell, with UL, CSA, and CE approvals and a temperature range from -55 °C to 85 °C. Termination is by screw terminals, simplifying installation in crowded control panels, and the bottom-facing mounting helps when space is constrained or when wiring runs are routed beneath the device.
