SICK FX3-XTIO84002 Safety Relay

The SICK FX3-XTIO84002 safety relay (Flexi Soft I/O module) is an 8-safe-input, 4-safe-output device for industrial machine safety and control systems. As part of the Flexi Soft system, it enables modular expansion of safety inputs and outputs to monitor emergency stops, safety light curtains, and interlock switches on manufacturing lines, robotic cells, and automated machinery where high-level safety compliance is required. It provides 8 safe inputs, 4 safe outputs, and 2 test outputs, with a fast response time under 19 ms (fast shutdown around 9 ms). The unit operates on 24 V DC (13–30 V DC range), with PNP semiconductor outputs that are short-circuit protected up to 2 A, and it draws about 2.2–3 W; it is IP20 and is DIN-rail mountable with spring-terminal connections. It carries SIL3 / PL e certification (EN ISO 13849) and measures approximately 22.5 × 96.5 × 120 mm.
