SICK KTM-WP11182P Photoelectric Contrast Sensor

The SICK KTM-WP11182P Photoelectric Contrast Sensor detects subtle contrast differences on labels, films, and packaging to support accurate mark detection for high-speed packaging lines, labeling systems, and printing equipment. It features a white LED light source, a 10–30 V DC supply, and a PNP switching output with light/dark switching selectable, plus a <50 µs response time and up to about 10 kHz switching frequency; its IP67-rated, industrial-grade plastic housing handles -10°C to +55°C and uses an M12 connection for standard industrial mounting. Designed as a replacement for KT3W-series sensors, it is used by maintenance teams, OEMs, and system integrators for retrofit and high-precision contrast detection, with common replacements including KT3W-P1116, KT5W-2P1116, and KTS-WP11182.
