SICK NT6-03022 Photoelectric Contrast Scanner
SICK NT6-03022 Photoelectric Contrast Scanner
Description:
The SICK NT6-03022 Contrast Sensor is a compact 80 mm × 30.4 mm × 64 mm photoelectric scanner that detects color contrast using red and green LED illumination, with a sensing range of up to 9 mm and a distance tolerance of ±2 mm. It operates from 10–30 V DC, draws less than 80 mA, and tolerates ripple up to 5 Vpp, delivering a switching frequency up to 10 kHz and a response time of more than 50 μs. The device provides both a switching output (up to 200 mA) and an analog output of 0.15–6 V for versatile control schemes, and the light source wavelength is 560 nm, with a light spot size of 1.5 mm × 5 mm (1.5 mm × 4 mm for green light) that can be oriented from either the long or short side of the housing. Built for rugged industrial use, the NT6-03022 carries IP67 protection and ships with a 2 m cable for straightforward integration, with a potentiometer for on-device adjustment and a mean service life of about 10,000 hours at an ambient temperature of +25 °C. The product is listed under part number 1005822 and is part of SICK’s NT6 contrast-sensor family, designed for reliable color/contrast sensing in automated lines where distinguishing light and dark features is critical.
