Description:
The SICK WF2-40B410 fork-type photoelectric sensor detects very small features in tight spaces, boasting a 2 mm fork width and a minimum detectable object of 0.2 mm, all in a compact 10 mm x 32 mm x 57 mm housing with a 42 mm fork depth. It uses a LED infrared light source and operates on 10–30 V DC, drawing about 40 mA with ripple under 10%. The device provides a dual PNP/NPN output up to 100 mA and a switching frequency of 10 kHz with a response time ≤ 100 µs; sensitivity and light/dark switching are adjustable via the plus/minus buttons, and label detection is supported. With IP65-rated enclosure protection, this sensor is suitable for packaging and labeling lines or any application requiring fast, reliable detection of thin materials in a narrow slot.
