SICK WTB4-3P3161 Mini Photoelectric Sensor 10-30VDC 100mA

The SICK WTB4-3P3161 is a compact miniature photoelectric sensor from SICK’s W4-3 family, designed for diffuse-reflection detection in tight spaces. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply with a typical current draw of 20 mA and delivers a PNP, light-switching output rated for up to 100 mA, making it suitable for small objects and low-current loads. Emitting a 650 nm visible red PinPoint LED, it provides a sensing range of 15–150 mm for standard targets (specified for an object with 90% reflectance per DIN 5033), with a fast response under 0.5 ms and a maximum switching frequency around 1 kHz. The device is housed in a rectangular ABS enclosure measuring 16 mm wide by 39.5 mm high by 12 mm deep, with a 3‑pin M8 connector and a 100 mm cable (0.14 mm² conductor, Ø3.4 mm cable). It weighs about 30 g and carries IP67 and IP66 protection ratings, with operating temperatures from –40 °C to +60 °C and storage tolerance to –40 °C to +75 °C, making it robust for industrial environments.
