SICK WTE280-2P4331 Photoelectric Block Sensor

The SICK WTE280-2P4331 is a compact diffuse-reflective photoelectric block sensor that detects targets using visible red light over a range of 10 to 2,000 mm. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC with a 3-wire PNP output and a 4-pin M12 connector that can rotate 90 degrees and be locked with a slider for flexible mounting. The rectangular housing measures 23.5 mm wide, 74.5 mm high, and 63 mm deep and is paired with a 2 m lead. Built for industrial use, it carries IP67 protection and supports both DARK-ON and LIGHT-ON modes for diffuse-reflective sensing on conveyors, packaging lines, and other automation tasks. The WTE280-2P4331 uses a visible red LED light source and offers a straightforward alignment thanks to its block form factor and rotating M12 connection, with performance governed by target reflectivity across the stated 10–2000 mm range.
